I ran the new camera through some paces today for product catalog image shots and I'm am very very impressed. I've already got the Canon S2 and it's an impressive camera, but, I'm not hitting the brick wall with the limitations and I am finding more or frustrated by some of the limitations.

Here's a picture of my backyard at 1 in the morning. It's dark, visible only by the city glow.
The camera was set in manual, 25 second exposure, F2.8, lens was a 100mm EF Canon lens.
The image was resized for publishing.

Here is one of ModaMag heat sink taken with the same 100mm lens in macro mode. The heat sink nearly filled the full image frame. it was cropped and background removed. Multi-lights were used to take this shot. Picture was resized to 320X240 before posting.
