Sorry, I've not been posting lately. I've contracted with CRE to upgrade the ecommerce site the latest and greatest B2B version which will enable the shoppe to handle distributors, wholesale contracts easier.

Right now it's too messy to handle bulk, wholesale, distributor, custom modders offline from the shoppe since all inventory control is the database behind the ecommerce package. Selling a reflector to someone at the door screws up the inventory and selling 10-20 of them at a different price to someone not only messes up the inventory that sale must be maintained somehow in an excel spreadsheet or some other method.

With the new site we can enable custom logins for those with wholesale or other custom contracts and they will be able to purchase directly from the shoppe, but, have custom pricing available only to their specific login.

We have now crested over the hump of stuff being made for the shoppe regarding new electronics. We now have online the new step down converter board that is similar to the downboy, but, has thermal protection built into the converter IC. The new Remora board that mounts on the Shark to give the Shark a 3 level UI is now online as is the Tank night Light.

There is also a new section for fixed lighting offering the Xitanium drivers, 6 up Cree MCPCB strip, 6 up Rebel thin PCB. We will be adding loc-line and other accessories over time.

I'm working on the last customer contract and when that finishes I can come back and focus 100% on the shoppe business.

I don't have a timeline for the new shoppe, but, the product listing will be simplfied when that goes live. Instead of listing each version of a converter board for example the new site will list one board. For example. There will be a single Downboy converter board. Inside that there will be sub products like DB400, DB500, DB750. When you order a sub product it will show up on the invoice as a DB750 listed as a single product and the invenentory will debit the DB750. Each sub-product will be treated as a regular product with a unique part number.

This happens all to often in business. For example. You go into a dept store and look at a polo shirt. The table is all polo shirts of the same style, but, there are many different colors. If you shop online at a computer store you might end up buying a keyboard. Which sub-model? US or international? Grey, Black or Silver? Each color keyboard is a different part number and the store needs to know which specific one is sold to keep track of inventory and to re-order the corect stock.
